As a former graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School, Doug Desorcie dedicated his career to the field of education. His passion was in developing learners and leaders, supporting innovation and courage, and celebrating resilience. This living gift was established to spark leadership and grow a stronger, kinder school community.

HS - Shane Bushey. Shane’s proposal is to rebuild proactive pitching mounds next to the Varsity Baseball field and repaint the dugouts. Shane will work with Mr. Lumsden to plan for these improvements and plans to have this done by the spring season. Shane was awarded $600.00 for this project.

MS – Ariel Bigelow. Ariel plans to put boxes of hygiene products together for those who are in need. Her project began as an idea in her Middle School “Genius Hour” elective and grew when she learned of this award. Ariel was awarded $400.00 for her project.
