Join the Franklin County Apprenticeship Fair, Here at MVU!

We're proud to announce that MVU will be hosting the Franklin County Apprenticeship Fair, an exciting event designed to connect students with career opportunities in the region. This event will take place on April 16th with hundreds of students from multiple high schools across Franklin County gathering to explore potential career paths. MVU students are slated to attend from 1:15-2:00 PM.

The Apprenticeship Fair will feature several regional employers including Vermont Community Broadband, Habitat for Aviation, Vermont Rural Wastewater Association, Handy Cars, New England Air Systems, Sticks and Stuff, Green Mountain Welding, and many more! Students will get an in-depth look at what it takes to start a career in Franklin County through interactive presentations. They will gain valuable insights into various industries and the many programs available to help them kickstart their careers. Employers will be on hand to discuss job opportunities, required skills, and the benefits of apprenticeships and internships as a pathway to long-term success.

The Franklin County Apprenticeship Fair is a collaborative effort to bridge the gap between education and the workforce, ensuring students have the resources they need to transition seamlessly from high school to meaningful careers. By bringing together schools, students, and employers, this event fosters connections that will benefit both the local economy and the youth of our community.
