On April 3rd, 12 sophomores and juniors attended the Medical Career Fair sponsored by the UVM Health Network. Students were able to talk to employees in a variety of medical professions ranging from Phlebotomists, Ultrasound Technicians, Labor and Delivery specialists to Respiratory Therapists and traditional Registered Nurses to name a few. Over 30 industry professionals were there to talk to students about their career, how they got there, schooling or certifications needed. Some students had hands-on practice with real medical equipment. Our students asked questions and explored various healthcare career paths while getting the opportunity to connect with potential mentors in the field.
