The ceremony opened with Co-Principal Dan Palmer presenting to an audience of students, district staff, and family of the inductee. He presented the list of accomplishments that convinced the committee that Rainville would be an excellent addition to the Hall of Fame.

A teacher of history and theater for more than three decades, Mr. Rainville returned home to MVU in 2025. He is devoted to building community- as an educator, creator of theater, and engaged citizen. After directing more than fifty productions at Randolph Union High School, the stage was named in his honor. Brian served as vice-president of the Gifford Medical Center Auxiliary and shaped the Franklin Historical Society’s collections for two decades as curator. Mr. Brian Rainville is currently collaborating with stakeholders in his hometown to ensure the preservation of the Haston Library and future town offices."
Rainville then gave a speech to the students culminating in the advice, "Find something that terrifies you. If you aren't scared, you're not growing. Invest yourself. Exhaust yourself in this big, round, happy house." This was followed by questions from the students who were engaged by the stories of Rainville's journey from a youth growing up on a farm to directing legendary stage productions that saw students flying around the precennium on ropes.
