February at MVU Middle School!
Dear Thunderbird Parents and Families,
February is here, bringing new learning opportunities, community connections, and important moments for our school. One key event on the horizon is Town Meeting Day and the school budget vote on Tuesday, March 4th—a decision that directly impacts our students and their education.
This year’s budget proposal ensures that we continue providing high-quality services for our students while also lowering property tax rates for district residents. More details, including the full budget, are available on our Budget Information Page, and we’ll keep sharing updates on our District Facebook and Instagram so you can stay informed.
MVU Middle School Principal, Christie Martin, recently spoke about the critical role the school budget plays in shaping students’ academic experiences in a video interview you can check out in the article below.
We strongly encourage all eligible voters to make their voices heard—especially our families, who are most directly impacted by the decisions we make for our schools. Thank you for being an engaged part of our Thunderbird community!
