Town Meeting Day is behind us, and we want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who voted to pass our school budget proposal. Even with the tax drop and maintaining services for students, it was still a very close vote. With a margin of only 7%, everyone that voted "yes" really made a difference for the students of our community.
We are thrilled to be able to continue offering the same level of resources to our students while also proceeding with our necessary facility projects that tend to get more costly the longer they are put off. We truly appreciate your support in passing this budget.
Looking at what the rest of this school year has in store, we're particularly excited about the Apprenticeship Fair on April 16th that will see students from all over the region joining us here at MVU to explore a variety of local career paths. We'll have more updates about that event as we get closer to it on our website and facebook page! Follow us to stay up to date on all of our Thunderbird News! |
