Back in the Groove!
Dear Thunderbird Parents and Families,
Halfway through September and the weather has been beautiful (and getting a little warmer!) the leaves are starting to turn, and fall sports are well underway. That must mean the Middle School Open House is around the corner – and it is. I hope to see you Tuesday at 6:30. We will start in the theater and I will tell you a little more about our programming and then you will move to team-specific locations. Should you students come? That is ultimately up to you but yes, we always want them involved! We should be wrapped up by 8:00pm. Becca Tucker from Beyond the Bell, our afterschool programming coordinator, will be in the theater lobby in case you would like more information about what we offer after dismissal. Maria Gervais, MS Algebra teacher, will be here in case you would like to stop in and see her with math questions.
Still having Powerschool issues? Beth Greenia will be at Open House and we can troubleshoot or sign you up.
Tuesday, September 17th
6:30 PM in the MVU theater
September will wrap up with the anticipation and excitement of a dance on the horizon! If your student wants to be eligible to join us at our FIRST Middle School Dance on October 4th, be sure they know what they need to do in order to be there. Click for our MVU Dance Expectations. We will be reviewing these with students in the next few weeks at school.
Sincerely,
Christie Martin, MVU Co-Principal
